For those already comfortable with basic chord structures, the journey into extended and altered chords can present new challenges. Understanding how to effectively play chords such as F7(#9, b13), Bm7(9), or A7sus13 is essential for deepening your musical repertoire.

This application offers an interactive experience where users can both see and hear these extended and altered chords played in root position. Each chord is accompanied by a clear display of its constituent notes, facilitating a better understanding of their composition.

Tormod Vinsand, a seasoned jazz pianist and composer, has been imparting his expertise in jazz piano at prestigious institutions such as the Rhythmic Music Conservatory, The Royal Academy of Music, and Copenhagen University in Denmark since 1988. His extensive experience in education enriches the application's approach to teaching complex chord structures.
